According to MREU reports and a Belgian resistance leaflet, Sgt Brown was picked up by Belgian resistance, presumably for the Comet Line. However, he was ‘denounced’ by a local well-known collaborator (a Baker named Sack) and was subsequently arrested and moved to Dulag Luft 8/11
