@FreddyLA7 Are you making any Nashville stops on your way? I’m an NPR reporter and I’d love to chat. Audio only, no face 😬

@littlebit01 Welcome.

With the surprise start of the Barkley Marathons, I share my documentary podcast ep from last year about the race— Malcolm @Gladwell called it “Masterfully Witten”

My self-produced indie podcast is making national news with a mention in @guardian's "Best Podcasts of the Week" newsletter this month. I'm chuffed and baffled, really. Niche to Meet You is under their "why not try?" section, and I agree. Why not try?

I haven't mentioned this show of mine hardly at all on this platform - but it's currently sitting in the top 200 of all Society & Culture shows on Apple, AND it's still on their New & Noteworthy curated list. Crazy.

[Chris Thiessen @cthiessen95]

I have done a TERRIBLE job talking about this. But I have been THRILLED to be a part of @LeslieEThompson's Niche To Meet You team for the last 9 or so months.
Today, this wonderful podcast is on APPLE PODCAST's NEW & NOTEWORTHY! If you haven't listened yet, now's your chance!

@cthiessen95 I've done an even WORSE job of talking about this and it's my show :) Will retweet this. (do we do that anymore?)

I'm producing this episode today for our local NPR station, based on my podcast Niche to Meet You. So excited.

One way we can stave off loneliness is to interact with others through hobbies and niche interests. Today, we delve into three vastly different activities – and the people who pursue them – to understand why it's important to find our “niche” in all stages of life. Join us!

Ready or not, here comes Audra! Six-time @TheTonyAwards Winner @AudraEqualityMc will return to Broadway this fall, taking on what is widely regarded as the greatest role in musical theatre, ‘Rose’ in @gypsybway.

[Variety @Variety]

Audra McDonald will portray the ultimate stage mom, Mama Rose, in the upcoming Broadway revival of "Gypsy."

George C. Wolfe is directing the show, which returns to the stage in the fall. https://t.co/ocpIVaal1R

@NashSevereWx Hold on is this a good thing or a bad thing?!

[LeslieEilerThompson @LeslieEThompson]

The trailer is a 10 minute exploration into loneliness, which is a growing epidemic. But the hobby is the antidote.

Since November I've been cultivating a new audio project called Niche to Meet You - an @NPR style show profiling niche subcultures where we make our meaning. Website is: https://t.co/4yRZ0139rw

Loved editing this recent conversation between two greats--Charlie Peacock and Steve Taylor--from whom I’ve inherited a wealth of wisdom in the work of creating good, true, and beautiful things.

@edstetzer Our church took a very open approach to someone who was an open atheist...he served as a volunteer for a year before he decided he was ready to become a member.

We must not assume that our family, church, community, country, or organization is always right just because the people in it use the right words. We must never agree to “protect” the name of God by covering ungodliness.
