My friend organized a David Graeber reading group, which was great. When that wrapped, I rallied some folks for a Moby Dick reading group. People do the reading, do extra reading, make song recommendations, have really smart questions and notes. It is SO MUCH FUN!

If I may be a bit hopeful: I gave my students this semester lots of leeway in how they approached assignments, including options for researched creative projects. While I don't think it entirely weeded out AI, many created engaged, smart, original work that I enjoyed reading!
