🚨 THE WNBA'S INTEGRITY IS NON-EXISTENT.
An anonymous source. A mysterious “escape lane.” No public accountability.
When the sport desperately needed courageous leadership, its executives hid behind excuses.
COWARDICE OVER CREDIBILITY. https://t.co/THgk8WNehe
@AnnieCostabile Read the room, Annie! At your next opportunity, CHALLENGE the precedent this sets, the disregard for clearly stated WNBA rules, and the privilege awarded the MVP and her teammates in avoiding documented penalties.
@AnnieCostabile To be clear, any player can leave the bench and enter the crowd at any point during the game, without any penalties from the league. Message received. Presence set. @WNBA@WNBAComms
Justice for Gainbridge and Indiana. I’m not going to sit by and let outsiders who don’t like fans being fans spew BS narratives about the fans and city. This is my video from the game. Context matters. CC just shot a three over A’ja. The Aces were losing. The fans were lit.
This video is the clearest one I’ve seen. Per the rules, A’ja should be suspended for game three for entering the stands. Something tells me she will get special treatment, as she usually does.
We will hear nothing about further disipline for Wilson and Jackie Young.
Both crossed this Spectator/fan boundary.
They can never use this rule again, other than to call a technical foul on a player
Slippery slope they are playing with here!
Malice at the Palace?!?
@DNINJA219625 Fun fact: the CBA forbids use of performance enhancing drugs.
The irrational meltdown by A'ja and Chelsea suggests that maybe they should be tested.
