Every democratic movement reveals something beyond the immediate issue. While students are demanding accountability for paper leaks and failures in governance, this gathering also showcases a generation that is articulate, informed, fearless, and willing to engage in public affairs.

India's political parties should look beyond election arithmetic and identify future leaders from such spaces. Democracy needs representatives driven by public service, constitutional values, ethics, competence, and vision—not merely by dynasty, wealth, muscle power, or perpetual hunger for office.

Many of the young voices emerging from protests, campuses, civic movements, and grassroots campaigns may be better equipped to understand the challenges of future generations than some of the entrenched old guard. A healthy republic constantly renews its leadership.

The real strength of democracy lies not in unquestioning followers, but in citizens who ask difficult questions and leaders capable of answering them.
