P3a listened to a story about growth mindset called The Dot. We discussed the themes in the story about recognised that sometimes when things don't go to plan first time we have to keep trying. We created our own 'dots' afterwards. Don't they look amazing!
P3a have been working very hard since their return to school. We have started our Haddington topic, chosen our class novel and learned about classifying living and non-living things. We have created a lovely display linked to the BFG - dream jars and our dreams!
P1 enjoyed preparing a healthy snack and taking it outside for our yeargroup picnic on Wednesday afternoon! This followed the harvesting of our potatoes in P1a, when we’d made and tasted a potato salad! 🍌🍊🍎🍓🍒 #Article24

P2a had a great time at Craigmillar Castle last week 🏰 We enjoyed a tour of the castle and got to explore a range of medieval objects. We also made crowns and played medieval games 😊 (1)

P1a and P1c went on a mini beast hunt this week and were not afraid to get their hands dirty! We predicted what mini beasts we thought we would find and then went out for a look! Worms, bees, slugs, butterflies and even a… rosemary beetle! 🪲 🔍
P7 have been working so hard on their personal project presentations over the last few weeks and they finally got to present them to P3b. What a lot of hard work has gone into them and the P3s loved hearing about all the different subjects...thanks for sharing these with us!
