We’ve just come to the end of a 5 week initial r&d on a new work involving movement, text and cassette tapes.
Over the weeks we’ve had the pleasure of working with lots of wonderful people and have been in residence at both @DanceBase and @the_work_room.
🖼️ We're substantially increasing funding for arts, culture and major events in Scotland.
🎸 In the #ScotBudget, we announced the £6.6 million uplift to Creative Scotland funding - supporting the arts and culture sector at this challenging time.
@theSNP This is a reverse of 6.6m proposed cuts. Good news. But not an uplift. Please don’t pretend the SNP is investing more in the arts. Actually it’s still essentially a cut due to cost of living/energy crisis. An actual uplift of 6.6m would be very welcomed for a sector on its knees.
From New Orleans to Hidden Door...
On 1 June the legendary @Hot8BrassBand will bring us their unique sound, fusing the traditional jazz heritage of New Orleans with funk & hip hop 🔥
