@jjkaplowitz I wish the buzz around nuclear was like this back in 2019
I was finishing my mech Eng degree and talked to a recruiter at the career fair for the NUPOC program
Was a huge commitment after school for an industry that wasn’t prioritized like it should’ve been
@MatthewChang@ChangRobotics Looks great!
Awesome job on getting natural lighting to come in as well. Also great energy by having it located near the beach
A nice working environment really goes a long way for morale, creativity, collaboration, and productivity
Best of luck with the rest of the build!
Another reminder that the strait of Hormuz doesn’t matter
Iran can “control” it for as long as they want
Global trade will find away around and Iran will isolate itself from the global economy
You bomb Kharg island when it’s time and then Iran has no income
Broward’s population has actually grown more than 3.5% if you count illegal immigration from LatAm/Caribbean countries
However they don’t need 80% more tax revenue because they will spend it on meaningless projects
A well run county would be use that for amazing public services
Broward County
2018 taxes — $1.08 billion
2025 taxes — $1.8 billion
Population growth 2018-2025: 3.5%
51.8% of homestead properties in Broward will be fully exempt under the initial $250k exemption.
I am really not suprised by the market increasing despite whatever headline is thrown at it
The largest companies in the indexes are growing earnings at tremendous rates
You need to be invested so you are not left behind
@BowTiedNiners The funny part is that if we never used the munitions, then you would never be able to justify an increase in production
Normies finding out that beaucracy and MBAs infected DoD procurement
South Carolina is running the Florida model and becoming a retirement state
They saw the demographics of those that migrated to the state & realized this might be popular in the state
Catering to boomers will increase healthcare, tourism/restaurant, and construction industries
Step one of the laser turret tracking project is having to relearn python
Going to be using OpenCV with a Raspberry Pi
I want a pan/tilt servo to rotate a camera constantly until it finds the target. Once it finds the target, then it will aim a laser pointer at it
Anecdotally speaking, I abstained from alcohol for nearly a year, detoxed via sauna/blood donation, ~10% body fat, 3 months of prenatals, and cut out sugar/seed oils as much as possible prior to impregnating my wife
One shotted conception and the baby has been very healthy
ladies, your placenta is built from HIS genes.
meaning, how healthy the guy is that gets you pregnant, will completely change how your pregnancy goes AND the health of your child.
guys, you have a duty to get healthy before having a baby.
@PurpleDrink_LLC I personally think it’s different this time with memory
The rate of demand will outpace the time it takes to create more supply for a while (physical building of factory)
Barring a black swan event or big tech capex slowing, it will be playing catch up for who knows how long
We have a lot higher to go in the market imo
I’m still hearing “tech bubble” and “it’s just like 2000” talk
If you’re in the general index then you will be very happy in the future
If you’re wondering why semiconductor stocks are exploding, this is why:
$AVGO
$SONY
$ARM
$TSM
$MU
All help manufacture a Raspberry Pi 4 (mini computer on a circuit board)
Even though the price has doubled the last 6 months, I still need to buy this for my laser turret project
@emm0sh Used Gemini to review my GD&T IAW ASME 14.5 last week
Did a pretty good job and had some solid recommendations for making my drawing better. Had to correct it sometimes
It wasn’t able to take my component and create the GD&T from scratch. It was a simple component too.
Small drones are an amazing military weapon, but going all in on drones is idiotic from a strategy standpoint
Eventually a lower cost solution to defend against them emerges (already otw)
Now you’re just lighting money on fire
Pack it up DoW….
We will never be able to learn how to use drones (meanwhile we have the most advance AI)
We will also never be able to manufacturer in volume (we produce 1 F35 a day)
Worst part of X is that these people have an audience
You have to understand: All NATO militaries, including the United States military, are obsolete as of 2026. They cannot manufacture drones in volume, they do not know how to use drones in combat.
