At NY State Advocacy Day, we met with staff from @SenatorHinchey & @sarahana office. We urge lawmakers to require state-regulated insurance to cover FDA-approved ALZ treatments and reject the rollback of Medicaid coverage for biomarker testing, among other ALZ priorities.@NYSALZ

A simple blood test can detect Alzheimer’s before symptoms appear, but a legal barrier prevents Medicare from covering it. Congress can unlock access to early, accurate diagnosis and FDA-approved treatments by supporting the bipartisan Alzheimer’s Screening and Prevention Act.
