@DavidDJJames Did they both face the same level of relentless defense in their face the whole game? No not at all. Due to that it’s hard to make a fair judgement.
@Sprite_z0 It’s sad to see a fellow member like you become targeted by the vitriol of other members. The prophet has talked about peacemaking how many conferences in a row now? Gee, I wonder why. Most individuals with similar politics hate the church, so I admire your continued faith.
@colby_colonel Same Here! My first full season of being a bonafide Jazz Fan was 2006-2007 back in 6th grade (the late start was due to growing up in a non-sports household). It’s hard to believe that it’s now the 20th anniversary of my Jazz fandom.
@Ron_Anderson65 That’s awesome! I know there is a lot of negative opinions commenting on your post, however the church has helped me come unto Christ which helps me become a better person, though I still have a lot of room for improvement, it has set me on the right course.
@JazzNationNews I’m a bit heartbroken that he’s gone, I loved his personality and the way he played. But I wasn’t expecting a return like this, so that helps soften the blow.
@5Solas Why would it matter if it’s a sin? If the Christian lawyer has faith in Christ, isn’t he already saved from that sin based on Christian theology?
@Salt_n_Smoke@Sarahsred7 That understandable. I noticed in your bio that you were a descendant of Lorin Farr. I worked for Farr Better Ice Cream for 2.5 years and met a lot of that family. How close are you to those descendants of Lorin?
@Salt_n_Smoke@Sarahsred7 I’ll have to spend more time looking into that one. I think it’s a beautiful thing when others show their faith and devotion to Christ regardless of what church it is. Both of my parents left the LDS church and converted to more traditional Christianity.
@Salt_n_Smoke@Sarahsred7 I’m excited with the new pick, he’s probably the most highly touted (prior to the college injury concerns) prospect we have ever drafted. Hopefully it works out, I’m done cheering for the team to loose, lol.
@Salt_n_Smoke@Sarahsred7 I for one am thankful for what Joseph did even in considering the imperfections in the history of the church. My life is a lot better thanks to the restoration and has brought me closer to Christ. I can testify of that. I wish you the best.
@ShadowlandBlog@nicoraytruth I love it! You worded that perfectly. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I have had a lot of family members loose their testimony by coming across things in history that concern them, and then take that as evidence that they are not called by God , not giving any room for error.
