Saw a cool bird too, look at that thing. Red-headed woodpecker, very localized to Maryland and relatively rare apparently, so how about that… Effortless dart city 🎯
Gotta love a good dog track round 👌🏼
Played a new one this morning, some absolute CHUTES out there! Wife expected me back at ~Noon and I had a 2.5-hour drive home… played this in 2hrs and 8 minutes as the only person on the course 🚗 💨
Fantasy Valley must’ve been solid in its day. 4th pic reminds me of number 10 at Riv. Short 4, creek hidden left of a well-guarded green. The fairway hides from the tee box so you only see the raised bunkers.
Fun stuff. Bad conditions, lotta goose poop to dodge, but fun stuff. Shot 82 from the WHITES and was happy. The whites have a 71.4 course rating, that tells you how tight it was lol.
Their sister course (Lodestone GC) was genuinely fantastic and had some of the wildest greens I’ve ever played and they were rolling true as can be, so 1/2 aint bad!
@BodgeCalanni Fox Chapel is always welcome on the timeline
Finally got myself an in and should be playing it soon. First top-tier golf course for me, can’t wait 🦊
Is there anything better than getting some 35mm golf shots back?? 📸
And is there anything worse than realizing your wife’s finishing pose is way better than yours? Gonna have to let her know she’s being assessed a 2-stroke penalty for pic #4 to knock her down a peg 💡
@pagolfhistorian@USGA Spoooky, I had the same thought earlier today, at about the same time you did 👻
We’ve been called to get one for each major and fly them on tournament week.
Nothing beats USGA flags. Had to snap some photos at Oakmont.
@JonathanYarwood@oakley Can’t go wrong with red/rose/amber for golf 👌🏼 Non-polarized of course, gotta see the glare on the greens
I look like a total weirdo in my rose ones but oh well, they look great from the inside looking out lol
