If you don't think you can keep going, just remember that you probably thought that another time in your life. And you made it through that.
So you can make it through this.
List of healthy reminders everyone could use:
Don't point out things people can't change in 5 minutes or less
Tell people you love them more
Remember that everyone has bad days
Shrinking someone else won't make you feel big
It's ok to feel emotions for longer than 5 minutes
There is no set number on days that you're allowed to heal. You don't have a time limit. It's not, you have 4 weeks to get over this and then you can never think about it again.
Healing takes time. Years maybe. It's okay, go at your own pace.
If you're not okay, it's okay to say that.
If you're struggling, it's okay to say that.
If you feel helpless, it's okay to say that.
If you feel lonely, it's okay to say that.
Your emotions are valid. And you can talk about them, it's okay. ❤️❤️
If someone comes to you and tells you they're struggling, don't:
*Compare your problems to theirs
*Minimize their problems
*Make them feel like they can't trust you
*Tell them someone else has it worse
*Tell them it's all in their head
*Tell them to just get over it
