After my piece where I condemned Obi’s call for PBAT’s resignation, these individuals:

...came into my inbox and rained curses on me.

Despite them supporting Obi and strongly opposing Bola Ahmed Tinubu, they flooded that post with insults. Not satisfied, they came into my private messages to continue.

I’m not moved by their hatred. But what caught my attention is this: how can they hate Tinubu that much and still expect me to love Peter Obi? It beats my imagination.

I’ve made myself clear on this platform several times: I don’t hate Ibos. There are many fantastic people among them. What I reject is being attacked when I respond to bad energy.

There’s a pattern of mob attacks to silence you. They can go to any length to destroy what they dislike, and it’s no longer hidden that there’s hostility toward Yoruba people.

Without provocation, they have attacked our women, food, culture, values, and customs, yet we often don’t make an issue of it.

Now, I’ll be sincere: I don’t like Obi because I don’t think he’s fit to rule a complex country like Nigeria.

His record as Governor shows it. He couldn’t manage religious diversity, he didn’t embrace Ibos outside Anambra, and he hasn’t hidden his hostility toward anything Yoruba. These are not invented lies. They are facts you can verify online.

If I’m to choose between a bad option and Obi, I will take the option that can at least be useful. Whenever Obi opens his twisting mouth, you can be sure nonsense is coming.

My only assurance is this: until Nigeria is restructured properly, Obi will never be president.
