🧪 DAY 15/365
I did not follow my plan last week and made multiple trades outside my trading window.
However, I got my first profitable day locked in a funded acc.
🧪 DAY 7/365
Weekend, no trades.
7 days in, both the trade quality and hold time have already improved significantly.
Hope I keep this up.
The hardest part isn't finding setups.
It's resisting the urge to trade when there isn't one.
🧪 DAY 6/365
ONE strategy.
ONE market.
ONE year.
The point of this challenge is to commit to learning and refining one strategy while following my trading rules and keeping myself accountable by posting here.
Refining my strategy today by learning how it works with the previous session's POC, VAH, and VAL.
🧪 DAY 5/365
🔴 Trades: 18
🟢 P&L: +0.5R
❌ Overtraded; did not follow the plan at all.
🟢 Weekly PnL: +1.5R.
The week was going well until today. Although I finished up 0.5R today, it was an absolute clickfest. #MNQ price was slow-grinding and did not produce any setups for me, which led me to click without thinking.
🧪 DAY 2/365
🟢 Trades: 2
🔴 P&L: -$172
✅ Held to TP/SL.
Out of the three setups today, I was able to enter two of the losing ones.
Followed the plan.
No revenge trading.
Done for today.
🧪 DAY 1/365 — The experiment begins.
Strategy: VWAP + bands
🟢 Trades: 2
🟢 P&L: +$175
❌ Didn't hold to TP/SL.
Pre-London: band-to-band, but closed at VWAP as the price was choppy and felt heavy.
NY Open: band-to-VWAP, but closed prematurely after 40 points.
One strategy. One year.
I’ll be learning and refining VWAP + volume setups and seeing how far I can take it.
There will be winning days.
There will be losing days.
There will be mistakes.
I’m not abandoning the strategy every time it stops working.
Day 1/365 starts tomorrow.
September's goal is to take every winning day without getting greedy and planning my whole future around it.
The same goes for losing days - don't get scared; it's just a page, not the book.
@LoganMOT I have the same issue, hard to feel accomplishment if I don’t put many hours into something.
It means you are driven by effort rather than outcome. Your reward system still expects fatigue as proof that you earned something.
Trading is only for money. It does not offer meaning
