@grantpaulsen Thanks! I'm a HS Official (love whenever you guys reference NOVA high schools) but just dug it out of the NFL rulebook: Rule 6-2-4: "The receiving team may elect to take possession of the ball 25 yards from the spot of the kick..."
@grantpaulsen Re: Kickoff out of bounds -- Rule language for penalty enforcement is that the ball is placed 25 yards from where it was kicked. Announcers/fans mistakenly shortcut it to "placed at the 40" because that's what happens 99% of the time.

@grantpaulsen@funnydanny: would love a segment (when you have time to fill) debating what to do with jerseys of departed players. For me it’s situational:
Turner: Wear it.
Harper: Still love him but keep it out of sight
Zimmerman: Get buried in it.
Future note to any airline employees trying retrieve an emergency slide from my house: If a component of your aircraft falls on me, I'm keeping it.

@BillSimmons@TheRewatchables@ChrisRyan77@craighorlbeck The extensive analysis of LA's geography made me wonder: What's the most misaligned city/locality in T.V./film?
For one, I'll never understand how Sidney Ellen Wade got stuck on Dupont Circle while driving from the Hill to the White House.
I just felt legit joy when @grantpaulsen pulled Bob & Edith’s off the reserve list. Absolute justice.
In other news, that question opened my eyes to a number of diners I need to visit.

Great adventure yesterday: Down to Miami and back to visit the Greater Miami Aviation Association and see friends at @_FEAM and @AARCORP. I had my crack communications team write-up the trip for your benefit: https://t.co/5Zf7VJJblW
When @davidsibley participates in a @LearnedLeague One-Day on the Episcopal Church, everyone's playing for second (but since "the last shall be first" maybe that's okay?).
Always cool to get to know the @ARSAWorks scholarship winner every year. Joel will be a great aviator, technician, and (hopefully) leader for years to come. Glad to be helping Choose Aerospace find deserving students like him: https://t.co/DfqC59UUwd
Most comically tough @retro_bowl beat today:
NFC Championship; up 17-14.
Run clock down to 0:01.
Decide to take one shot at the end zone.
Throw 95 yard pick six.
I was not asked about it in the post game presser.
