Six thousand nine hundred forty-eight Bitcoin.
That’s the total Strategy—formerly MicroStrategy—sold from late May through early August: thirty-two in late May, thirty-five hundred eighty-eight in early July, sixteen hundred thirty-eight around August second, and sixteen hundred ninety around August ninth. Proceeds came to roughly four hundred thirty-two million dollars, mostly to cover preferred dividends and buybacks!!
Chump change! You talk like he sold a whole bunch of BTC but your don’t mention what they bought in the last 6 months!!
Twenty-eight thousand five hundred sixty-one Bitcoin.
That’s the total Strategy bought from late February through June twenty-second: twenty-four thousand eight hundred sixty-nine on May eighteenth, plus smaller batches of thirteen thousand nine hundred twenty-seven, thirty-four thousand one hundred sixty-four, three thousand two hundred seventy-three, five hundred thirty-five, one thousand five hundred fifty, one thousand five hundred eighty-seven, and five hundred twenty. After that last buy they paused for about ten weeks.
Fake news is what you are!
@rawsalerts How much salary did the top management make last year? They all own a pile of shares, thats why they want the bail out. Badly managed company thats all there is to it !
What the fuck are you talking about? You say it’s not actual money he can spend, but you want him to pay unrealized gains!! With what, you said he has no money!
So if you purchased a house 20 years ago for $200,000 and now is worth $800,000 you would have to pay tax on the $600,000 of unrealized profit. So doing it this way, your employer would not have to deduct taxes off your paycheque because you are willing to pay the taxes in advance. You’re so-called unrealized game. You’re a fucking idiot.
