Reminder that Jinora was only in this situation because of Aang breaking his Avatar promise to Wang Shi Tong about not using the knowledge in his library for war.
The Korra hate has never made sense to me.
• Restored Airbenders to the world.
• Opened a new era of human-spirit coexistence.
• Saved the world from Harmonic Convergence and 10,000 years of darkness.
• Ended multiple global crises (Equalists, Unalaq/Vaatu, Red Lotus, and Earth Empire).
• Created a new Spirit Portal.
• Helped usher in democratic reforms across multiple nations.
• Redefined what it means to be the Avatar in the modern world through empathy, diplomacy, and change.
It’s funny how some of you think Republic City was fine just because the buildings were still standing.
The city was already rotten from the inside. Corruption was heavy long before Korra was born.
So stop acting like she ruined Republic City when it was already broken.
You want to ask what Korra did about nonbenders being threatened?
>First, she fought the criminals who were terrorising nonbenders and taking their money.
>Second, she had the balls to confront Amon himself.
When Katara told Aang about the denied, they weren’t even concerned that non benders were being oppressed in Republic City. The only thing they cared about was that the non benders had attacked Aang.
Crazy theory: we know that Aang fought Ozai when he was 12 and he died at 66. The comet returns every 100 years, that means Korra would be around 45 years which aligns with the age she appears in the trailer. Are we also about to witness the next Sozin’s Comet event?…or do you think that has been dealt with already?
The people in the avatar universe are very unserious. They will blame Pavi for literally existing, Korra for the apocalypse, Aang for the 100 year war, Kyoshi for not being Yun, Kuruk for dying young, Yangchen for their life problems, but will never ever blame Roku and Szeto.
aang being remembered for the good he did and not all the mistakes he made along the way, while korras mistakes are all she's known for while disregarding all the good she did. OK avatarstudios i get it.
Korra fans and haters sincerely believing the obvious misdirection set up of all time is so baffling
"Korra isnt the reason the world ended, she's the reason there's anything left of it at all" is so obviously going to be the big twist that it almost doesn't even qualify as one
As a Korra fan, I promise you great things are coming with Seven Havens. We will finally be able to witness Korra’s character arc being completed.
Always remember one of the recurring themes of Avatar is history is messy, legends get distorted, and every generation inherits an incomplete version of the past.
