Join us September 20th to celebrate the life of Val whose life was cut too short at the hands of a child abuser. All are welcome to celebrate this sweet girl and what would have been her birthday. There will be a horseshoe tournament, corn hole, face painting, food, and raffles!

3 Ways you can prevent child abuse: 1. Educate yourself on the types of child abuse and recognize the signs. 2. If you suspect something, report it! You are not meant to KNOW, suspecting is enough. 3. Support your local non profits that support child abuse victims.

Something you can do today to help prevent child abuse: Talk about it with your own children. Explain what it is, and tell them that they can talk openly about it in your home and do so regularly. If coming to you is a norm, they’re more likely to come to you if abuse does occur.
