@tamler @peez I think the distinction is lack of feedback in academia. Easy to go 5-8+ years without strong feedback of likelihood of success. More honest discussion about the odds up front and then updated as students develop a record is helpful.

Hey @Strava @StravaEng, maybe set the y axis limits to contain the upper 90% of data points or something. As is, these graphs aren't informative for much except when I paused to take pictures.
