I said it's not hypocrisy. It's worse than that
It's insincerity: the special pleading favoured by so many Tories that actually when they pal around with gangs it's different and fine
But excuses are for losers
@LewSOS Was he campaigning? No
Was he at a gang pad? No
Was he at a gang fundraiser? No
How is it hypocrisy?
Ron Marks brother was on Black Power and there was never a suggestion he campaigned to the Black Power because he had had good judgement
It's not the hypocrisy that matters, it's the insincerity
If National are sincere, Luxo will sack Potaka this weekend
If not, Luxo will just continue making excuses for why it's different
Picture emerges of National minister posing with gang members

I agree with Chris Penk's assessment that Arena Williams is a very talented Labour MP. She's one of the few who have put in the hard work across her portfolios. Oh and she's Māori!
Compare her to the inept Willie Jackson, who's somehow ranked 5th. Is this merit? In my eyes, no.
"Arena Williams has fronted some announcements impressively, for example. If I were to quibble, I would point out that this makes her relatively lowly position on that party’s list all the more puzzling."

@BasicBishopNZ I mean this is just a typical performance for a Labour leader in opposition
They are bad at politics because somehow, after all this time, they have yet to fully understand that any failure of external communication is ultimately a failure of internal communication
Nah it's fine
Greens & TPM made a choice to target some voters over others with their gang outreach
Labour got all sanctimonious about without checking themselves
Kaipara told the truth about it
Leoni lied
Chippy did the only viable thing
C'est la guerre
To put this farce on Onii's lap is fucking deranged. Racist media and the ineptitude of Hipkins caused this outcome. The attack lines should have been diverted (as GRN and TPM have done) onto the real harm the coalition is causing the community. FHMR
@PronouncedHare@PaulusWessex Extremism is their strategy to counter the looming irrelevance that follows every term in govt
Groyper kiddiwink entryism is one element of it. But so is hoovering up radicalized crank rejects like Laws, Hipango, Ngaro, Ikilei, Cocurullo
@PronouncedHare@PaulusWessex Of course this might just be Ron Mark talking bullshit, as he is prone to do when discussing any topic except defence
But he said what he said, and the party's Parliamentary leadership and its new candidate slate are not exactly doing anything much to disprove his claim
@PronouncedHare@PaulusWessex On 2 August, Ron Mark told ZB "Young NZ First is essentially running things" within the party

On 3 August, The Press reported that Young NZ First was being led by this neo-Nazi https://t.co/XIJFzOlSff
