We just found out about one of the most heartbreaking stories we've ever come across.
Meet $Pips 🦒
She's a 6-month-old baby giraffe whose mother was killed by lions in the Kenyan wilderness.
Left completely alone, she survived for days in the African bush, a miracle in itself, given that lion prides were still hunting in the area.
What happened next is why we can't stop thinking about this.
A team from @SheldrickTrust (the same organization that's rescued over 300 orphaned elephants and rhinos) launched a dramatic helicopter chase through the savanna to find her.
After hours of tracking, they managed to rescue her just before nightfall. She was starving, dehydrated, and terrified, but she was alive.
Today, Pips is the youngest orphan at their Kaluku sanctuary. She's being bottle-fed, cared for 24/7 by dedicated keepers, and slowly learning to trust again.
Here's the crazy part: this isn't just a story. This is REAL.
You can literally go to their website right now and adopt Pips for yourself. €40 a year. You get updates, photos, the whole journey.
We're so moved by this that part of our team is actually planning a trip to Kenya to visit her in person. To see her with our own eyes. To make sure she's okay.
Because sometimes you come across a narrative that's so powerful, so pure, that you have to share it.
This is one of those times.
The link to Pips' adoption page is in our bio.
And yes, we're going all in on this story. 🦒
