Just to put things into perspective
- This is our first loss in cup games all season.
- This is our fourth loss all season. We are in March.
- We are still 9 points ahead of City with just 7 games to go.
Don’t let one bad performance and result change the fact we are very very close to achieve something special this season.
Use this loss as a fuel to win the rest of the games.

@TouchlineX Brilliant, a referee who has the belief to trust his instincts rather than bow to officialdom pressure.
Yes please, more of this as long as it’s the honest call made without any preconceptions or bias.
If Arsenal were 14 points behind LFC and went to Anfield, played with zero attacking intent, and exited with zero shots on target... we'd have fans calling for heads and pundits calling Arteta a coward.
Instead, LFC are being praised, and the talking point is 'mean' Martinelli.
Listen to me very carefully. Many in my immediate family are military. Most of my friends are black. None of them are ‘far right’. NONE wants to fight for this country and it’s not because they are unpatriotic’.
It is because they areaware that they would be fighting for a socialist Marxist nation hating government that has taxed them to the hilt, opened up the borders to unbelievable amounts of illegal migrants and imprisoned people for speech.
Our schools have become propaganda outlets for government filthy ideals and the hatred of Christianity.
If you wish to lay down your life or the lives of your family then please do not let me stop you.
But when Arteta picks him, the experts reckon it’s because he is afraid to win.
The best thing about football is that the facts speak for themselves, whilst the opinions and noise on TV and Radio most often gets proved to be nonsense.
@Lea_EFC Fair play to Gillet ( considering he is a liverpool fan) for fighting his corner, a little bit anyway. Just needed the balls to say no Darren I will stick with my original decision. I'm still waiting for the first ref to reject the Var decision when sent to the screen.
The audio from the Gyokeres penalty incident at Newcastle 👀
It sounds like Darren England has already made his mind up in the VAR room and does everything he can to convince Jarred Gillet to go to the screen & change his decision
VAR is running the game not the match officials
