UPDATE

Tommy Robinson has been remanded to appear at Woolwich crown court on Monday to face his contempt of court proceedings after he answered bail today for alleged counter terrorism charges involving him failing to give police access to his PIN code for his mobile phone.

It seems there was a warrant outstanding for his upcoming court case on Monday and the police have decided to activate it today when he answered bail, that is where the confusion comes from the mainstream media as he has been bailed for the counter terrorism charges but kept in custody for the contempt of court warrant that was outstanding
