@GoodVideoBye I love your reviews
And I really enjoy your positive style ๐ such a great vibe.
And of course your special featured guest Iris ๐ฅฐ
You are doing great ๐
@CredibleCrypto It depends on the destination. As soon as multiple connections are involved or thereโs a moving target like a cruise ship, I use a travel agent. If anything goes wrong, they can step in and save you the headache. For trips on the mainland, I usually book everything myself.
If any of you see โmeโ replying in comments under my (or other) tweets promoting a meme coin launch/presale itโs not actually me. Donโt ever send โmeโ anything, I will never solicit cash/coins from you.
Seems to be happening a lot so putting this out there just in case.
My Story, Portfolio & Lessons Throughout My 3 Crypto Cycles ๐
Just to illustrate the massive ups and downs, both financially as mentally, one may experience being mostly allocated to this market throughout the years.
Will shortly go through my story so far by highlighting the events at these dots.
Chart is not to scale but just roughly how everything went.
๐ธThe Start (2017-2020)
1. I started my crypto Journey in the Summer of 2017.
2. I quickly made about a 10x being mostly exposed to IOTA at the time (which went on a tear). Held all of it back down losing basically all the profits.
3. Echo bubble in 2019 saw some recovery.
4. Back down during the covid crash in 2020 where I was basically as close to break even as it could get.
These drawdowns were still manageable and I wasn't full time in crypto at the time which made the bear market go by a lot quicker. Around 2019 is also when I started actively trading and getting more involved in the market.
๐ธThe Good Times (2020-2021)
5. Mostly held this entire rally after adding spot after the covid crash.
6. ATH Break, portfolio well past it's 2017 cycle highs.
7. Rally continued, portfolio at increasing new highs. Started taking profit along the way.
8. Summer crash 2021, spot portfolio took a big hit as it did for most.
9. Last move up to 2021 cycle highs. Made a killing on NFTs & GameFi which put the portfolio high above that of the one earlier that year.
Even though we had covid, lockdowns and all that stuff. These felt as the best years I've ever lived from a personal perspective. I went full time crypto in 2020.
๐ธThe Choppy Times (Q1-Q3 2023)
12. Slight recovery in 2023 with the market. Was pretty long from the bottom so made a ton in January but gave a lot of that back straight after.
13. Overtraded the 6-7 months where BTC was basically chopping between 25-30K. Lost more than needed while the market went mostly sideways.
๐ธThe Comeback (Q4 2023)
14. Since the rally that begun in October things started clicking and dramatically improved performance. Obviously the market went up only so everyone was a genius during this time. Regardless, most of my profits actually came after BTC already started chopping sideways around $45K and thanks to a hot trading/scalping streak. I was able to cut a good amount of exposure near the local high around the ETF launch and slowly started scaling back in on the drawdown that followed.
At the time of writing I'm happy to be pretty close to the 2021 highs after royally screwing up the gains I made in the 2022 bear market. I knew better but still lacked patience to sit on my hands and not trade or re-allocate too early.
Shows you how you learn something new and essential every time. First cycle I forgot to take profits. Second cycle I took profits but re-allocated too early and traded too much.
Main goal for this cycle is to fix all of that and be able to recognise when my edge is gone and to actually sit on my hands when I have to. Additionally, I want to focus more on the larger swings and not be caught up in all the low timeframe noise and trading. It takes a lot of energy and is not worth the decrease in quality of life because of it.
I hope this has given you guys some insight in my story and how volatile it can be by being mostly exposed to the crypto market especially as someone working full time in the space.
Crypto is great but so are the ups and downs.
I'm grateful for all the friends and connections made along the way.
Especially during the rough times it's good to have people to fall back on that are in the same situation and know what is happening.
We simply aim to make higher highs and higher lows both in portfolio as well as experience. ๐ค

@garyvee@VeeFriendsCards@Corso52 Was fortunate enough to be able to order some Veefriends Uno cards to Germany but unfortunately was on a trip while they were delivered and returned by customs (thereโs only a 7 day period they keep it) ๐. So a Veefriends card would be awesome ๐คฉ
Here is the info below visualized on a standard chart to hopefully make things as clear as I can:
Remember, we are watching to see if there is OI buildup into the cluster of asks at the top of the chart here which may induce a flush down and trigger the below scenarios.
If we don't get a significant OI buildup into the asks because spot buyers are driving the move up then we could simply push through.
In honor of Keanu Reeves' birthday today:
This is Matrix movie star Keanu Reeves. He was abandoned by his father at the age of 3 and grew up with 3 different stepfathers. He is dyslexic. His dream of becoming a hockey player was shattered by a serious accident. His daughter passed away at birth. His wife passed away in a car accident. His best friend, River Phoenix, passed away of an overdose. His sister battled leukemia.
No bodyguards, no luxury houses. Keanu lives in an ordinary apartment and likes wandering around town and is often seen riding a subway in NYC.
When he was filming the movie "The Lake House," he overheard the conversation of two costume assistants, one crying as he would lose his house if he did not pay $20,000 - On the same day, Keanu deposited the necessary amount in his bank account.
In his career, he has donated large sums to hospitals, including $75 million of his earnings from โThe Matrixโ to charities.
In 2010, on his birthday, Sept 2nd, Keanu walked into a bakery & bought a brioche with a single candle, ate it in front of the bakery, and offered coffee to people who stopped to talk to him.
In 1997, some paparazzi found him walking one morning in the company of a homeless man in Los Angeles, listening to him and sharing his life for a few hours.
In life, sometimes the ones most broken from inside are the ones most willing to help others.
This man could buy everything, and instead, every day he gets up and chooses one thing that can not be bought:
To be a caring person.
Simple Acts of Kindness
Share this โ who knows, maybe Keanu will see it for his birthday!
