Learned a lot at the YSUS Camp and I’m 1 mph away from my velocity fall goal ! Thank you to Coach Pond for putting on a great camp yesterday, I took away many hitting and pitching drills from it! Today at my pitching lesson I gained 1 more mph putting me up to 59 !!! We’re almost to my fall goal of 60 !! Armor Elite is excited to announce Armor Elite Premier- Pope/Leedy 2028/29 AND Armor Elite- Pope/Leedy/Pezzuolo 18u!

Head Coach Jami Pope (16u Pope/Leedy & 18u Pope/Pezzuolo) has coached in both the Ohio Stingray and Outlaw Organizations for the last 20 years. Compiling over 450 wins and 55 Committed Student Athletes and winning records in each of the last 9 seasons (summer and fall).
Jami is also the Director of Recruiting at Capital University where they won their first Conference tournament in 2026 since 2013.  She has a long history of success and looks forward to increasing her longevity with the Armor Elite Program!

Assistant Coach Lane Leedy (16u Pope/Leedy & 18u Pope/Pezzuolo) has also coached for the last two decades and also began her coaching career in the Ohio Stingrays Organization with stops at University of Toledo (2013) Black Hills State University (2014-2019) University of Findlay 2020-2024, Ohio Outlaws 2022-2026 and Currently is coaching at Ashland University. She has a hall of fame playing experience and looks forward to become Armor Elite!

Assistant Coach Jen Pezzuolo (18u) is in her first very long tour of travel softball, She has been the outstanding coach of Outlaws Premier Pezzuolo. With stops at both nationally recognized Team PA and Outlaws Premier and and an intense love of both the game and her players Jen and her kiddos have compiled an over all record of 364-164-33.  She is looking so forward to joining Armor elite as well!

I was grateful to get the win in the circle with a shutout and hit home run #6 of the summer, which turned out to be the difference in a 1-0 game. Huge shoutout to Savannah Gambill @Savannah65160157 for making some incredible plays in center field behind me! Team defense was awesome.
