After a long time practicing leg movements in my hospital room everyday, my physical therapists’ wanted to see if I could do a very short walk down the hall. It was exhausting & my family was so happy you can hear my daughter @LexyMcAdams exclaiming, “I got my walking buddy!”

I refused to spend the rest of my life in a wheelchair & spent a lot of time in the rehab hospital learning to stand up & walk. One day with the assistance of my amazing therapist she helped me walk back into my room so I could give my daughter the first ever hug standing upright
