Overall the thunderstorms for most of England wasn't too major and temptures are still going to be quite high with an Amber and Red warning of extreme heat in much of east England.

England and Wales have got some heavy rain England mainly having it by Salisbury and Winchester with the odd lightning strike.

Wales have some quite patchy heavy rain along the border and some along the south coast line of wales, these again having an odd strick or two.

However, just off the coast of NW Wales there is a band of quite heavy rain with quite a few strikes per minute.

Rest of tonight the odd chance for a few thunderstorms to develop in England and Wales however chances are quite low it will turn into anything major.

Currently as of 3AM, extremly strong and heavy thunderstorms in Scotland with quite high wind gusts with about 100 strikes per min.

Next point of interest is this organized convective rain band containing multiple embedded thunderstorms.

This is moving towards Devon and Somerset, likely to reach in the next hour.

The met office is saying Thunder & lightning in minehead tonight from 8pm till 2am.

If this stands and there is a high chance of it I might go live and stream it, but that mainly depends on if it happens.

Thunderstorms across the majority of somerset are looking more likely after the latest UKV model run. Starting off south as one band and then it goes into wales and then a separate band moves east through Bristol. The band that moves across devon and somerset is also likely to have some extremely strong gusts of wind as well as it moves through.

Also some very heavy thunderstorms and rain with high winds and hail is also likely across majority of Scotland as well.
