Memories that will last forever.
Diogo Jota's wife, Rute Cardoso, has written a letter to Scotland captain Andy Robertson ahead of the World Cup.
She thanks Robertson for his friendship, and for preserving Diogo's memory. Robertson adds he'll have Jota at the forefront of his mind.🙏
@LFC_ERYAN If man city get found guilty of even one charge I will forever be fuming these moments did not get us over the line, the amount of clutch goals he scored for us should have been rewarded even further
I’m sorry but we are setting the worst precedent possible, how tf are both Konate and Trent allowed to leave to MADRID ON A FREE? I’m so done with these contract issues at this club, it’s ridiculous
Pretty much everyone has criticized him, and fairly so, but it does leave a little of regret he didn’t get a chance to get his own flowers for being the person who lead the team on the pursue of #20
It was the smart decision, it was the only outcome that made sense after this season, but I’m genuinely hoping he lands on his feet. Clearly everything that could go wrong for him went wrong, and maybe that disconnected him from the fans, but we will always be grateful Arne🥲
I just don’t understand what went wrong exactly for this to happen, was really hoping he could make a comeback season and go back to the level we all know he can reach. It is what it is, but it is a loss for everyone involved.
Liverpool FC can confirm Ibrahima Konate is set to leave the club upon the expiry of his contract this summer.
Konate will depart with our gratitude and appreciation for the contribution he made and everyone at the club wishes him the best for the future.
Makes 100% sense after Ibou leaving, he’s injured way too often but we need to have an older figure alongside Virgil for Jacquet and Leoni. Sadly with Ibou gone now we need another experienced CB to come in so we can have a rotation of
Leoni/Jacquet/VVD/Gomez/Signing
Genuinely think this should have been conveyed earlier. Despite everything that happened since, THIS did actually happen and people would have liked to have said thank you.
We’ve all slated him, but Arne Slot genuinely seems like a good guy.
The way he handled something so unprecedented like the Jota situation was unbelievably classy and he represented us well during that period. Was the right time, but hopefully he lands on his feet elsewhere.
It's a shame it had to end like this, but we'll always be grateful to Arne Slot for bringing us number 20.
The way he handled the Jota situation will never be forgotten either. Thank you, Arne. All the best in the future.
This is an utter disgrace from the club.
18 months we started negotiated. We wanted him to stay, and he came out publicly a month ago and said he would stay.
I’ve never seen anything like it. Richard Hughes is an embarrassment.
