@natimontelongo My hometown is the S.TX Co. Who voted for Trump. Instead of taking our lawmakers word as to why it happened, I reached out to friends and family and asked why the voted for Trump. IMO the why is a complicated mess of misinformation, misogyny, and fear of losing oil jobs.

This is some BS. Drive around my neighborhood, none of the examples listed apply. Some of my neighborhood had power restored. Why? We are 104hrs of no electricity.
Bad news for those still without electricity at this point. The remaining repairs are the most difficult/complex and may take longer. My sincere apologies, but I want folks to be aware so they can prepare. See the update from the city below.
Officially 77 hrs with no power. The outage map by zip code summary for @austinenergy says our zip code has over 3,500 customers without power. Not enough to move up the priority list when there are still zip codes with much higher numbers by the thousands. #atx#KeepAustinLit
