Three years. It still amazes me how someone I’ve never met could leave such a lasting mark on my life. What started as simple admiration slowly became something much deeper: a source of comfort, strength, and hope during days when I needed them most.

There were moments when the world felt unbearably quiet, when loneliness settled in and I wasn’t sure how to get through the day. Somehow, your smile, your laughter, your determination, and the way you continued moving forward reminded me that tomorrow was worth looking forward to. You didn’t know it, but you were helping someone on the other side of the world find reasons to smile again.

You’ve inspired me in ways that go far beyond your work. You taught me that grace can be stronger than anger, that kindness is never wasted, and that resilience isn’t about never falling, it’s about finding the courage to stand back up every single time. Watching your journey has quietly encouraged me to become a better version of myself, to work harder, to appreciate the little things, and to never stop believing that brighter days will come.

Thank you for unknowingly walking beside me through some of my loneliest days. Thank you for giving me something to look forward to, for reminding me that happiness can be found in the smallest moments, and for proving that genuine passion and perseverance can inspire people you’ve never even met.

On your birthday, my only wish is that life returns to you every bit of happiness you’ve given to others. May you always be surrounded by people who love you sincerely, opportunities that help you grow, and countless reasons to smile the way you’ve helped so many of us smile.

No matter where life takes us, I’ll always be grateful that our paths crossed in this unexpected way. Three years have passed, but my admiration and gratitude have only grown stronger.

Meanwhile, I would NEVER claim that Freen is a vocalist, and guess what? SHE NEVER CLAIMS TO BE A SINGER EITHER. LMAO. 😂 But the way she manages to sing a difficult song in Chinese is genuinely impressive for someone who isn’t even a singer! And her acapella? Actually pleasant to listen to.

She’s not a singer, and we’re not pretending she is.
