@H_ania4 @implausibleblog Liddle is abusing statistics in basically the stupidest way possible. But it's not surprising because he's not a social researcher and doesn't understand that there can be other reasons why number of psychiatrists increases with wealth of country.
@desertrose1969 This has to be a joke right? Your class and politics are not set from birth, or even childhood. He is no longer for the working class. His backstory is no longer relevant. When people show you who they are, believe them. Like he believes in starving Gaza.
This would have been front page news for a week if Corbyn had made a gaffe like forgetting 9-11, during which you’d be able to turn on the news channels and watch a livestream of journos crowded outside his home front door
@TheMobRules73@GarstonKopite@HeidiBachram@KerryAnnison Well that's actually going against your point. There's a big difference between a rise in hate crimes, and a state sponsored pogrom. So as much as people are right to be fearful, these things are quite different.
@Serendi52207149 @RachelRileyRR@ManUtd@AndyBurnhamGM@MayorofGM yeah, so by Palestinian flags she probably meant a hijab because to the Islamophobes those two things are one and the same.
“What do you think happens to gay people in Palestine?”
They get killed by Israeli bombs the same as everyone else.
A country cannot improve the conditions of vulnerable minorities if its development is artificially held back by colonialism and its people fight just to survive.
Can anyone give me one good reason why the UK has not taken up the offer from France to set up a refugee checking centre in France … and I say one GOOD reason? It would seem to me a sensible answer
@datepsych I'm literally getting divorced right now. It was also a really fucked up and abusive relationship. But I'm keeping the photos because it's my history and my life. She can't have that no matter how painful. I'm not looking at those pics often though, if ever lol.
In response to Frank Hester’s disgusting comments about Diane Abbott, Wilfred Emmanuel Jones, a black Tory activist, says this is the left ‘weaponising racism’. He proceeds to say someone using the ‘n’ word isn’t always a racist.
Feels like watching a comedy sketch! #newsnight
@kalironside@ArtsyMarx1st She clearly knows the difference. She's making a rhetorical point. Because the immune system doesn't function like a muscle and repeat exposure to live pathogens is typically worse not better.
@ClayReith @ArtsyMarx1st This is like suggesting breaking a leg in a field and having your friend set it and bandage it with his torn shirt is "kinda the same" as breaking your leg inside a hospital. Would it be pedantic to suggest that one is so much better it's really important to see the difference?
@ClayReith @ArtsyMarx1st It's not pedantic at all. It's literally what millions of lives rested on. If a politician believes exposure is the same as vaccination they will avoid any mitigation methods. But exposure and vaccination are very different. They're not kinda the same.
@steakdriven@ArtsyMarx1st No it isn't dumbass. Vaccines contain dead or attenuated pathogens. They do not contain live viruses and they do not "give you the disease." Why not read about it before commenting.
