🇺🇸 #US: A Homeland Security operation took place at the MacArthur Park in Los Angeles, described in leaked Army documents as a "show of presence."
The site was labelled a hub of "historic lawlessness" and "the founding location of MS-13." Internal briefings compared the park to a foreign insurgent zone and said it remains the largest open air fake ID market in the U.S. southwest.
Agents from ICE and CBP carried out the action with support from the 1st Squadron, 18th Cavalry. The mission, titled "Operation Excalibur", despite being carefully planned and assessed as HIGH threat, was reportedly poorly executed. Military personnel remained in trucks for the brief 24 minute deployment due to a lack of coordination between ICE, CBP, and local authorities, who were only informed two hours before. Nine federal agencies were involved, using soda brand codenames.
Many soldiers reportedly viewed the mission as ineffective and politically motivated.

🇺🇸 #US: American warplanes carried out airstrikes on three nuclear facilities in Iran just moments ago, President Donald Trump announced.
The targeted sites included Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan, with a full payload of bombs dropped on the Fordow facility, according to Trump’s post on Truth Social.
The President described the operation as "successful" and confirmed that U.S. aircraft had left Iranian airspace following the strikes. This would mark a direct U.S. military engagement in the conflict.
🇺🇸 #UnitedStates: Archaeologists believe they’ve discovered two mass graves of Black Union soldiers who were ambushed by Confederate guerrillas in 1865 in Simpsonville, Kentucky. The soldiers, part of the US Colored Cavalry, were caught off guard while transporting cattle. Most were shot while fleeing, and evidence strongly suggests they were targeted because of their race.
The company had been based at Camp Nelson, a Union Army depot where many formerly enslaved men enlisted in exchange for their freedom. Despite wearing official US Army uniforms, the guerrillas opened fire, and multiple accounts note that the men were shot in the back as they tried to escape.

🇵🇸 #Palestine - 🇮🇱 #Israel: Open-source analysis by the Washington Post has revealed that the Israeli military’s claims of a Hamas command center under Gaza’s al-Shifa Hospital have largely fallen short.
Although the IDF published a number of media releases showing purported Hamas infrastructure below the hospital, the provided evidence has largely not matched Israel’s assessment of the facility. The Washington Post’s analysis concluded that the rooms connected to the tunnel network below the hospital showed little signs of military use.
Israeli assessments before the hospital was stormed by the IDF named five specific buildings they claimed were known to be involved in Hamas activity. Despite these very specific claims, none of the five buildings appeared to be connected to the tunnel network. Evidence was also not provided to show that the tunnels could be accessed through the hospital’s wards, a crucial aspect of Israel’s assessment of the complex.
