@nikicaga I've always thought the first half is kinda akin to 7 in that it's bad but watchable and even at times entertaining. Episode 2 especially had some genuinely decent scenes. The second half was all the same level of utter garbage. Calling it fan fiction is an insult to fan fiction
Man, I forgot how great this movie is. I remembered it was great, but it really holds up. I like it better than Wrong Trousers. Definitely up there with my all-time favorites. I saw it twice in theaters in 2005 when I was 8. I remember getting some toys for the movie, I don't remember if it was Burger King or somewhere else. Fuck, I really am old. I sometimes forget how old I am. When I think of being 8, I think it's 2014, but then I remember the really ancient shit and I'm like "Oh fuck, right. I'm that old."
@MarcusH_01 Honestly I'd probably just do a write-in for California. As bad as Beccera is I couldn't bring myself to vote for a MAGA Republican (if anything him being British is even more of a turnoff, we should be setting higher standards abroad)
@nikicaga Tbf I do think northerners are 'honourable' but I guess their idea of honour is different to the knightly / faith of the seven version of the south. Much more based on the hardier, brutal, unforgiving life of the north
@K3nB3n I don’t see how anyone who values liberty, democracy, and rule of law could come to any other viewpoint:
🇵🇸 suffering apartheid and ethnic cleansing
🇺🇦 fighting Russian imperialism
🇹🇼 democracy threatened by autocratic expansionism
🇺🇳 world war bad
Argentina 🇦🇷 this World Cup:
➡️ ONLY team not to have a single VAR intervention against them
➡️ Most - fouls of ANY team
➡️ 0 Red Cards
➡️ Most - Pens awarded
➡️ Most - opponents goals disallowed
➡️ Most - opponents yellow cards
➡️ Least - travel distance

Politicians need to articulate what the deal for the under 40s is in this country. Currently it is this:
- work hard
- don’t get a state pension until 70?
- unaffordable homes
- private rents that bleed you dry
- a country with failing infrastructure
- highest taxes in 50 years
- stagnating economy
- no wage increases
You're a voter in Clacton. Your MP triggered a by-election to delay an investigation into his financial affairs. The other parties refuse to pander to his self-indulgent vanity project. The only opposition he has is a man dressed as a bin, because this is not a serious election.
