In which @GillianKeegan explains to @SophyRidgeSky why teachers have amongst the lowest earrings growth in the public sector. As Gillian says, it’s because of years of no pay rises or below inflation rises. Gillian is right. But what’s she going to do about it?
I can now absolutely see why Gillian Keegan wanted the strikes calling off before making an offer.
No way they would have have been called off after an opening offer that was probably even lower than the one we got.
‘Inspections are in the best interests of children’
Not if great teachers and leaders end up leaving teaching as a result. Which they do. One of thee most damaging things for any child is losing the presence and potential of a brilliant teacher in their life.
I just want to say thank you to everyone for their support.
The kindness and gratitude you have shown our team has been overwhelming.
Together now, we stand in solidarity.
Together, we can make a change.
United, we stand.
