@RachelT_ASD @WhitneyChild @MrsGibbonsAFHS @cdurham99 @mjmbecky @westlakepotter @LundDenise @gbuhrley @Dr_MBraithwaite @kori_crampton In both 7th and 8th grade classes: first, watched/ listened; second, highlighted (individually chosen) 5-8 "WOW" phrases/sentences; third, students spoke their highlighted words while I read the entire poem. (By the sixth class, the process was going smoothly. 😉)

@ctovani I'm horrified--but I suppose this is how white supremists (i.e. KKK?) think and talk. Where/when/how/why did he get to adulthood with this attitude? As a teacher--and a native Californian--I can only think Spencer's parents and school experiences "created" him. YIKES!
