In Richmond, Lib Dems won 100% of the seats - for 51% of the votes.
In Wigan, Reform won 96% of available seats with 46% of the vote.
Lib Dems do not believe this is ok.
But the Prime Minister "still has confidence" in this system.
What do you think?
Does the Prime Minister think all votes should matter?
He couldn't be clearer: "No" - he does not.
We want to fix politics so that this country works for you. The Labour government does not.
The Brent @LibDems Council Group I lead is demanding that Cllr Butt step aside immediately.
The recent election was a clear rejection of Labour and his failed leadership. The time has come for Mo to go!
#Brent residents want change.

Local elections should be about local government. Some parties what to distract you from what actually matters: who will do the work.
Lib Dems win more councillors every year, win more by-elections, and defend more seats - because we actually deliver for people.

@richard_jm@LibDems Heya! For what it's worth, I have worked with our housing spokes in Parliament @GideonJAmos on passing an updated anti-leasehold anti-rip off policy at LD conf in '25. I know Gideon has repeatedly raised the issue in Parliament as well. we really are fighting to end leasehold✊️
Are you looking for a party that cares about the local environment and climate change?
Look no further - the Liberal Democrats are the original environmentalist party!
To go greener faster, vote Lib Dem on 7th May!
Honestly @Royal_Greenwich ... what are you playing at ?
The reports are very clear ... correct the record, and help these residents get their homes fixed !
For nearly a year, Labour run @Royal_Greenwich Council of Greenwich councillors have allowed a false council position to stand—denying clear evidence of dangerous and unlawful construction across 8 tower blocks in Woolwich.
Despite a major campaign demanding the truth, they’ve stayed silent.
Now others are speaking up:
The @GrenfellTTrust.
Former Premier Victoria @TedBaillieu.
And Grenfell Inquiry Counsel Stephanie Barwise KC.
All calling on this appalling Labour run Greenwich Council to correct the record.
Cllr Rachel Taggart-Ryan —enough silence. Withdraw the false position.
If Labour are willing to dismiss serious building safety concerns, ask yourself: what else would they ignore that matters to you?
🗳️ Greenwich residents—make your voice heard on May 7th, vote Labour out.

As a Councillor in Brent & a working musician - I am asking for your support to save Battery Studios. Please sign the petition!

Kudos to Camden Lib Dems for continuing to support musicians.
Nuisance buskers should be dealt with, but Labour have reduced legal busking, while noise complaints have reached new highs anyway - quite an achievement!

Housing developers in England should be forced to ensure GP services are available for use by residents before they move into new homes, Liberal Democrats propose

Fly tipping, harrassment, beer cans by the hundreds, e-bikes & scooters on the towpath, not enough lighting. Walking along the canal should be a pleasure but its badly impacted by anti-social behaviour.
Liberal Democrats are cleaning it up: get involved, get in touch!
After authorising a council position denying the existence of ALL evidence of dangerous and unlawful construction at build at 8 tall tower blocks in Woolwich despite being sent them and allowing harrassment allegations to be sent to a worried resident just for caring about the safety of their buildings, we must not allow Labour Greenwich Council Leader Anthony Okereke from Labour another term to harm Greenwich any further. His council is repeating the same mistakes of Grenfell.
Look at all the evidence below Anthony's council says doesn't exist despite being sent it.

I actually went to this Labour YIMBY curry event, paid my £50 in a bid to try to speak to the Secretary of State @SteveReedMP on behalf of the 5.3 million households trapped in leasehold.
The position is so desperate for us grassroots campaigners that to petition ministers meant to act in the public interest we have to try our luck against well-funded property interests at events like this one.
I was sat up in the Gods and managed to corner Mr Reed as he was leaving the venue and being moved on by his handlers.
My email request to meet to discuss the issues with him at @mhclg was fobbed off months later.
I wonder if they only came back because of the threat of media exposure, although for once I did not place this story.
Steve Reed has no time to hear from the leading grassroots campaign to end leasehold for good.
Yet in February, he found a slot in his diary to grant an audience to the Residential Freehold Association, a lobby group for Big Freehold.
Just last week, I was blocked on X by Reed’s colleague, housing minister @mtpennycook.
Why are they running scared?
We have a draft Commonhold and Leasehold Reform Bill shorn of policies that voters were promised in the @UKLabour manifesto and King’s Speech: the remaining @Law_Commission recommendations on enfranchisement and Right to Manage.
The best corporate lobbyists are those which go undetected...
I was really upset by Mr Pennycook's comments on leasehold over the weekend. They echo Keir Starmer's behaviour regarding his climbdown over Agar Grove.
I've written to Sir Keir, who is my MP, requesting clarity regarding both issues.
@FreeLeasehlders@ZackPolanski
Yes! Lib Dems have been calling for this change. It is a shame it has taken yet another fossil fuel driven energy crisis for Labour to seriously consider this - but better late than never...

A managing agent that does not sweat a site will be fired by its freeholder employer. Management hired and fired by the payers is the best regulation there is.
