Well, that must be why, from September 1–12, 2024, Israel agreed to pause its fighting for nine hours a day, sector by sector, so Gaza’s children could be vaccinated against polio.

Nearly 560,000 children under 10 were vaccinated — about 95% coverage.

If your theory is that Israel’s objective was to destroy Gaza’s population, you have a rather enormous fact to explain: Israel literally paused its war to keep Gaza’s children alive and healthy.

Ms. Rachel continually cites a report alleging Israel targeted children in Gaza, saying it was a UN report. This is a lie. It was a report by a commission that has a history of anti-Israel bias. The UN itself never accepted the report.

I have personally tried many times to correct her on this, and even spoken to her about how harmful it is. Her response was to send me a voice note of herself crying.

Her lies are especially harmful considering how the allegation that Jews kill non-Jewish children goes back centuries and has been used to justify countless murders of Jews.

But she refuses to listen. She pretends to be cute and hand out lollipops, all the while spreading blood libels that endanger Jewish children.

If she cared about children, she would tell the truth, not lies that get Jewish kids killed.
