“We are angry. We are frustrated. We are insulted; our degree, required by the state, means less than one parent’s right to choose. They will now mandate what is selected based on their biased personal beliefs, and not our professional degrees.” https://t.co/45cSJWTYp6

BREAKING: Country music superstar Garth Brooks defies Republicans, declares that he will absolutely serve Bud Light as his new bar — and if conservatives don’t like it, they can take their business elsewhere.

But it gets even better….

The country icon declared that, “If you come into this bar, you just love one another. Otherwise, there are plenty of other places on Lower Broadway to go. Diversity. Inclusiveness. That's me. It's always been me. I think that diversity is the answer to the problems that are here and the answer to the problems that are coming. So I love diversity."

Well said, Garth!

Please retweet and ❤️ to thank Garth Brooks for standing up for the LGBTQ+ community — and consider investing in Tribel, a “woke” new Twitter competitor that is currently doing a round of equity crowdfunding and just blew past $1 million raised from 2,650 of its users. If you want to own a small piece of what may be the “next big thing” in social media, here is the link to do so https://t.co/7S6ULL2pfG, and here is the link to download the new Tribel app that Elon Musk is so afraid of: https://t.co/HnJzSKj4Hp

Left: Fox News claiming the pride flag the White House used promotes pedophilia.

Right: Fox’s parent company promoting its inclusiveness in 2022 by wrapping its corporate logo in the very same flag in a corporate social responsibility report. https://t.co/xhq4Myio5i

A reminder, even though school is out in Texas(and elsewhere) your school boards are still meeting. Keep an eye on their posted agendas so things don't slip by. Defending intellectual freedom is a year round effort!

This is such a terrible tragedy and it unfortunately supports some very damning data. Black women are 3x more likely to die in childbirth than their white peers, and while economic disparities are an issue, it is public health crisis largely created by the fact Black women are often mistreated in the health care industry.

Lessons MAGAs Are Teaching Their Children:

People don't matter.
Never apologize.
Diversity is dangerous.
Compassion is a flaw.
America is the world.
Laws are irrelevant.
Women are less-than.
Whiteness is better.
Religion is a prop.
When in doubt, lie.

@WCCPBA @Stephen_W_M @WLA_School @WALIBASSN This was the winner at our school, so the kids will be happy that they picked it! Congratulations, @Stephen_W_M!

[CALL TO ACTIVISM @CalltoActivism]

In one of the most notable moments in sports history, Kenyan runner Abel Mutai was just a few feet from the finish line, but became confused with the signage and stopped thinking he had completed the race.

A Spanish athlete, Ivan Fernandez, was right behind him, and after realizing what was happening, he started shouting at the Kenyan for him to continue running; but Mutai didn't understand his Spanish.

Fernandez eventually caught up to him and instead of passing him, he pushed him to victory.

A journalist asked Ivan, "Why did you do that?"
Ivan replied, “My dream is that someday we can have a kind of community life where we push and help each other to win.” The journalist insisted “But why did you let the Kenyan win?" Ivan replied, "I didn't let him win, he was going to win.” The journalist insisted again, “But you could have won!”Ivan looked at him & replied, “But what would be the merit of my victory? What would be the honor of that medal?
What would my Mom think of that?”

Values are transmitted from generation to generation.

What values are we teaching our children?

Let us not teach our kids the wrong ways to WIN.

Teachers won't get raises. Parents won't get vouchers. But all Texas schools will get armed guards. This is how public education fared in the Texas legislature this session. https://t.co/y9BiQj7LRU via @TexasTribune

TEA commish said appointed @HoustonISD sup Mike Miles has "record of success improving outcomes for TX students." 4th/8th grade NAEP reading scores from his time in Dallas ISD suggest otherwise. What am I missing? @TexasAFT @MomsAGAbbott @brianlopeztx @HoustonChron @DianeRavitch

Them:
Student loan forgiveness is a travesty. Make people pay every dollar they owe for the education they chose. Plus interest.

Also Them:
Give me a voucher so I can send my kid to a private school.

Congrats to the new TEA Take-Over superintendent...

Who, apparently, doesn't know what librarians do in schools.

Irony: Taking over a school district because of failing reading scores as an excuse and getting rid of librarians who literally help kids READ, people key to the raising of reading test scores

This should be the only answer to racist questions about Black criminality. Ever. @SandyDarity is not playing with y'all.

This is insane. Rikers just unapologetically announcing they’ll no longer notify media when people they’re caging die. https://t.co/hVld5NVd7H
