Library Innovates Series is a Quarterly call on individuals, Businesses, Students & Academic Community to #innovate for the #Libraries... Powered by @Liftfunds
As part of Mr President’s goal for human capital development in education, health, and social protection, and to ensure the completion of all abandoned projects that meet our needs, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu @officialABAT, GCFR, has directed us, the Ministers of Education, to complete the abandoned National Library Project in Abuja, which is intended to serve as a national landmark for our capital city.
Last year, we established a committee of stakeholders to finalise this project. This week, the Minister of State @Suwaiba_Said and I had a follow-up meeting with the committee to map out a clear completion strategy, focusing on mobilising the contractors to the site before the end of the third quarter of 2025.
This President is dedicated to improving our human capital index and completing key infrastructure projects like the National Library.
Your kids #innovation project shouldn't just be around digital technology.
However, that this is taking place at all is commendable.
We hope as a ministry, you' ll enable kids innovation in sectors like arts, Social Studies, business and culture.

How can u come to a National Library every morning under the guise of doing ict research only to watch Yoruba Movies, K-drama or Hollywood movies from about 11 a.m to 3p.m?
How can the Library Workers, ict section of National Library, Lagos chapter allow this?

This Is ridiculously FALSE!
Just returned from one a few hours ago in Yaba, Lagos.
Instead of making this crude and laughable statement lacking in fact and empirical assertiveness, you should rather lend your Voice in aid of each.
Nigerian #Libraries have myriads of problems.
Have you got an #idea on how to improve #Library Services to the Community or Patrons?
Is your #idea novel in a Cultural, technical or digital Way?
