Reading is all fun really but what happens after it equally matters.
@ReadThinkInvest encourages readers to act afterwards.
In 2025, readers need to let the #Books they read be their guide for the year.

@michael_imossan@LibraryImpactNG@3Bookthirsty@bakronline Access is a big problem. And this made/make readers source for soft copies from the backyard. If the writer can't sell enough, he wouldn't eat enough to gain enough energy to write another book. I love life; I want to enjoy it. Our work needs to be sold, you know, so we can live
@ChinuaEzenwa@LibraryImpactNG@3Bookthirsty@bakronline to be published) and I can’t assure people my little author’s copy will be sufficient for my family and friends. This goes to other authors and books too. Access is extremely important yet absent. 😢
@ChinuaEzenwa@LibraryImpactNG@3Bookthirsty and book distributors from going into contract with the foreign ones to either distribute the books locally or buy rights to producing them here in Africa, Nigeria.
I know for sure a lot of people have been asking for @bakronline’s book, mine too (even though it is yet…
@ChinuaEzenwa@LibraryImpactNG@3Bookthirsty In the recent Abuja International Poetry Festival, I had thought this would be given answers too as I personally curated a panel with aim to address this issue but I can’t say there was a solution.
The question I do ask is, is there anything holding our local publishers…
The question of access - equitable and fair access - to #books and other knowledge resources can only be effectively addressed if everyone support the libraries, esp, public libraries.
BookStores/BookShops need to innovate around their products offerings too.

A number of Libraries, especially, public libraries are already rising to the occasion. More needs to be done, however.
Our Bookstores/BookShops need to find more creative ways of putting books in the hands of potential readers.
#Books are becoming expensive
