The Uganda Volleyball Federation (@Ugvolley) has not yet been registered under the new National Sports Act, according to a press statement issued by the National Council of Sports (@NCSUganda1) on July 20, 2026.

Instead, the federation has been listed among the National Sports Organizations (NSOs) with major compliance gaps.

NCS says the affected federations must address significant governance and legal requirements before they can qualify for registration under the new sports law.
