I am honoured to have been invited by ISN to speak at the plenary session of the World Congress of Nephrology today in New Delhi. It is an inspiration to be amidst the finest minds devoted to cure/prevention of Kidney disease globally. There is a critical need for awareness and equitable treatment options for us, Indians, and we all need to come together on this mission. Kidney disease is as prevalent as cancer or heart disease and we have to wake upto this fact. புற்றுநோயை குணப்படுத்த முடியும்.
புற்றுநோய்க்கு சிகிச்சையளிக்க முடியும்.
புற்றுநோயை தவிர்க்க முடியும்.
புற்றுநோய் தொடர்பாக
பயம், வலி, மரணம், உருவ சிதைவு என்ற சில வார்த்தைகள் உண்டு. ஆனால் அது பழைய கதை.
இப்பொழுதைய உண்மை நிலை - தவிர்ப்பது, சிகிச்சை, குணபடுத்துதல் மற்றும் ஆதரவு.
புற்றுநோய் சிகிச்சைகளில் இப்பொழுது மிகப்பெரிய முன்னேற்றங்கள் பலரது உயிரை காப்பாற்றி கொண்டிருக்கின்றன.
ஆனால் இதற்கான முதல் அடி எடுத்து வைப்பது நமது பொறுப்பாகும்.
விழிப்புணர்வோடும் செயலூக்கத்துடன் நாம் இருக்க வேண்டும்.
ஆரோக்கியமான நோய் எதிர்ப்பு சக்தியை வளர்த்து கொண்டு நாம் நம்மை பாதுகாத்து கொள்ள வேண்டும்.
இதற்கு நீங்கள் செய்ய வேண்டியது கவனமாக செயல்டுவது.
ஆரோக்கியமான உணவை சாப்பிடுங்கள்.
உடற்பயிற்சி செய்வதை பழக்கமாக ஏற்படுத்தி கொள்ளுங்கள்.
மன அழுத்தத்தை குறைக்க திறம்பட முற்படுங்கள்.
முறையான உடல் ஆரோக்கிய சோதனைகளை எடுத்து கொள்ளுங்கள்.
பதப்படுத்தப்பட்ட உணவுகளை தவிர்த்துடுங்கள்.
நச்சுத் தன்மை கொண்ட வீட்டு உபயோக பொருட்களை தவிர்த்து இயற்கையான பொருட்களை உபயோகப்படுத்துங்கள்.
ஊட்டச்சத்து மிகுந்த ஆரோக்கியமான உணவுகளை உட்கொள்ளுங்கள்.
நாம் இப்பொழுது உண்ணும் குப்பைகளை ஒதுக்கி விட்டு பாரம்பரிய உணவுகளை உண்ணுங்கள்.
பதப்படுத்தப்பட்ட சக்கரை வகைகள், உப்பு மற்றும் எண்ணெய் வகைகளை முற்றிலும் புறக்கணித்து விடுங்கள்.
இதையெல்லாம் செய்ய தொடங்கினால் நாமும் நமது அன்பிற்குரியர்களும்முழுமையான ஆரோக்கியமான, சந்தோஷமான, சக்தியூட்டபட்ட வாழ்க்கையை
வாழ முடியுங்கள்.
இப்படி வாழ்வதற்கு நமக்கு முழு தகுதி உள்ளது.
