Find the good!

Refreshing means we have to find the good.

God is inviting us to a life of often refreshing others. It’s being consistent with allowing the breath of God in us refresh others.

Doesn’t the world need a breath of fresh air?

May we be reminded the breath of God is in us. May we be like Onesiphorus, and refresh others OFTEN!!

“And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being.”
Genesis 2:7

The Lord is reminding us His breath is in us. We’re being reminded that we are a breath of fresh air.

“Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness... Genesis 1:26

We weren’t created to be what others have said about us but we were created in His likeness.

We’re not going back to normal, or new normal, but we’re returning to our original intent.

Onesiphorus= his name means profit and breath.
Do we, like Onesiphorus in 2 Timothy 1:16-18 are a breath of fresh air? Do we add value to others?

God is inviting us to choose to be one who refreshes.

The Lord grant to him that he may find mercy from the Lord in that Day—and you know very well how many ways he ministered to me at Ephesus

2 Timothy 1:16- 18

“The Lord grant mercy to the household of Onesiphorus, for he often refreshed me, and was not ashamed of my chain; but when he arrived in Rome, he sought me out very zealously and found me.”

A catholic monk in the 1490’s read Matthew, Mark, Luke, John and said, “ either this is not the gospel or we’re not Christians.” Meaning we haven’t been living according to the word.
