Old OBC woman told the reality behind 75 years of reservation 🚨

"I'm a Yadav woman. My late husband belonged to the SC community. He was very handsome. He received many marriage proposals from his own community as he was IAS but he chose me because I was also very beautiful. Don't judge me by how I look now (laughs)

I'm here for my daughter's child, who is facing hardships in life because of the reservation. My grandchild who's weak in studies got college easily because of it. People here keep talking about discrimination but in many cases, they themselves discriminate. Once some people become financially well, they refuse to marry within their own community and instead look for a girl from the general category

My husband always visited temples, and no one could stop him. It is the poor who face the greatest discrimination, whether they belong to GC or the SC/ST. Reforming the reservation system is the need of the hour."

Every time a wealthy SC person receives the benefit of reservation, a poor from GC loses that opportunity. This is the reality of reservation 🙏

- She said that she was brilliant in maths and physics and used to score over 90% in her board exams
- Her first dream was to crack JEE
- She appeared for the exam but couldn't crack it due to reservation
- She then went to JIIP for an engineering degree
- Not cracking JEE turned out to be a blessing in disguise for her, as she became an actor
- But that's a rare case. Many people see a downward graph in their lives after facing reservation

Kudos to her for taking a stand for students who are facing the same pain she says she faced. Reservation's end is near. No one can stop it 🙏
