@SimonBrundish @asifkapadia I think thats what makes the Ukraine war frustrating for Palestinians. People can seem to see the parallels of an occupying force in Russia but can’t seem to see an occupying force in Israel (also apartheid state as per Amnesty + @btselem + human rights watch reports).
@SimonBrundish @asifkapadia Google “the Nakba” & you’ll learn about the ethnic cleansing of 800k Palestinians from their lands in 1948. They have no right to return to Israel or the West Bank. Look at what human rights orgs have said about Israel too.
@NJ_Timothy You get away with making up spurious claims about hard working teachers in Brum. And yet you pontificate about accountability. Do Muslim people scare you mr Timothy?
I hope your racism and bitterness towards minorities haunts you on your death bed.
@NJ_Timothy It’s sad. You are such a shameless, evil person. Do you recognise these claims as spurious or do you just see brown skinned Pakistani people as non human and fair game?
Glad to see the Trojan Horse Affair Podcast expose your lies.

@NOWHelpTeam It’s fine i streamed it by another means. But honestly, Now TV via Apple TV consistently gives me these issues. I have to log in 3 times for a day pass + it usually freezes so i have to re start. It’s easier in Now TV’s current form to illegally stream than it is to pay.
@ryanhunn FIFA 21 & previous iterations of the game derive their income from catering to that consumer base of Gen Z. Which perhaps gives them the deluded confidence that this would work.
& would love yours @Okwonga hot take on Spanish media’s response to this which has bern weirdly tepid
@ryanhunn Thanks for the podcast lads. Would love your thoughts on whether you think this could be viewed through the prism of games like FIFA 21. It’s online “season” modes are essentially the model for ESL. Young fans across the world playing exclusively as these 12 teams 24/7
FIFA as a franchise video game makes hundreds of millions from its online modes from young fans. It sustains itself off it. In pure economic terms, you can see what these founding clubs are trying to achieve #europeansuperleague
On FIFA 21's online modes you have thousands of young fans playing as clubs in the 'European Super League' day after day, week after week. The same with FIFA's Ultimate team where Gen Z fans from across the globe play as star names (& spend money to buy packs to do this).
According to source, some of those involved in ESL call traditional supporters of clubs “legacy fans” while they are focused instead on the “fans of the future” who want superstar names
*ESL insists modelling shows solidarity payments will be boosted £10bn Euros over 23 seasons)
FIFA (ironically) as a video game, probably gives some clues to who the ESL are aiming for in terms of 'future fans.' Young, global fans who don't care (or aren't aware) of grassroots, domestic leagues etc. But simply want the best teams in the world playing every week.
