You've heard of the thundering herd problem. Irctc has to handle thundering angry Indians problem.
I'm surprised they haven't gone for zonal wise load balancing.
Tears in my eyes, is this finally happening?? 😭😭😭
Have the non-AC buses which have closing doors, actually being closed while moving? Never thought this day would come.
At Paradise Signal in Hyderabad, a young woman pleaded with the driver of TSRTC bus TG 10 T2206 (route 10H) to open the door in the rain. Other passengers also requested it, but the driver used rude language and refused. Even the female conductor did not help. The driver was even hurling bad words at her. Why are they so rude?
Public transport should treat passengers with respect and humanity.
In contrast, BMTC drivers in Bengaluru are often praised for helping passengers—stopping even in heavy rain to pick up stranded people.
I agree with the premise that BJP and its IT cell are the hijackers.
Only this time, there was no diversion to other areas and the results were well achieved.
Do you remember the price we paid for IC-814? Not immediately, but in the subsequent years? This is the exact same thing. Compound interest will accrue over the next few years. Brace yourselves.
I get Hyderabad is big but there's no way it's just $25bn lesser than Bengaluru. A decent amount of area inside the ORR is still underdeveloped compared to BLR Orr where there is development 20km outside the ring road.
@watARSHmelon Mmts is 50% state funded since inception. Last I read, KCR govt didn't fulfill its obligation.
Bigger issue I think is that there is no space for additional tracks unless govt ignores old city. Even then the central govt have to be aggressive which I doubt is even possible
#Hyderabad: #FoodSafetyAlert
Dead cockroaches on batter, insects in urad dal, houseflies in kitchens, open drains and poor hygiene were among the violations found during surprise inspections at Shah Gouse (#Raidurg), Mehfil (#HitechCity) and Ideal Kitchen (#Madhapur ) by Cyberabad @CMC_Offcl Food Safety teams.
#ShahGouse: Houseflies, open drains, grease buildup, unhygienic non-veg cutting area, unlabeled food, gutka stains | 65% hygiene score
#Mehfil: Roomali roti prepared in a construction area (stopped), wet floors, inadequate kitchen space, missing medical fitness records | 67% score
#IdealKitchen : Dead cockroaches on batter, insects in urad dal, improper food storage, missing water testing & medical records | 67% score
Improvement notices have been issued to all three restaurants with directions to rectify the violations.

And this is why I always take foreigners or new visitors to Paradise for biryani.
People may have their favourites from Shadab to Bawarchi but I don't think they maintain their hygiene standards as well as Paradise or Pista House.
0% chance of food poisoning there
🚨 Hyderabad has ranked last among India's metro cities in food hygiene ratings, according to FSSAI.
Out of approx. 75,000 food establishments in the city, only 361 eateries (less than 2% of licensed outlets) hold hygiene ratings. 🙏
It takes me 40 mins to cross a signal, how did the candidate think it would ideal to leave only 33 minutes early idk.
To attend an exam held in north BLR, I left 5 hours early. Somehow there was no traffic and I reached there 2.5 hours before the gates opened but it's an anamoly
CCTV analysis and route verification have established that the NEET candidate reached the examination centre after the stipulated cutoff time. Traffic conditions were found to be normal, and traffic police personnel facilitated movement wherever required. The delay was primarily due to late departure from residence and route selection.

@BlrCityPolice
No it wouldn't.
What you need is quadrupling of tracks from mangalore to Karwar and alternative routes via ghats. Buses are extremely convenient and frequent.
If the same money was put into building a transit line between Mangalore and Udupi. It would've seen super good ridership. Alas, despite voting BJP to power for decades we get nothing like what people of Agra get.
We travel in third class buses despite 8000$ gdp per capita
The worst south Indian restaurant chain for me. High prices with no taste whatsoever.
I tried the food here once when it was late night and most of the restaurants were closed. Left the food midway and walked 3kms semi-hungry to get better food.
Which one would be better Vikarabad solo or Zaheerabad + Sangareddy + Patancheru combo?
No idea about the construction challenges but IIT + NIMZ + industrial complex (with miyapur access) combo feels like a better route. Kokapet won't be skipped either ways
I would prefer it start from Ghatkesar which would:
1. Make it a maintainence hub
2. Connect with railway and buses
3. Maybe encourage related business or manufacturing along the HYD-WGL corridor.
Let shamshabad, Medchal and Ghatkesar be junctions
Would be interesting to find out the reason behind the shocking decline of Telangana.
Since this data is pre-war, the data from March 2026 is going to look even worse despite having a low base.
India’s merchandise exports continue to be dominated by Gujarat, Maharashtra & Tamil Nadu.
GJ’s lead is boosted by petroleum exports, while TN and KA have already surpassed their FY25 export totals with 1 month still left in FY26.
Telangana, meanwhile, has seen a sharp slowdown.
Following the Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri @revanth_anumula’s call, took MMTS ticket after 6 years.
MMTS can definitely be an alternative means of transport.
