Here's the solution to all worldwide (political) problems:
"Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus."
I Timothy 2:1-5 NKJV
Lord, my heart is not haughty, Nor my eyes lofty. Neither do I concern myself with great matters, Nor with things too profound for me. Surely I have calmed and quieted my soul, Like a weaned child with his mother; Like a weaned child is my soul within me. O Israel, hope in the Lord From this time forth and forever.
Psalms 131:1-3 NKJV
@ProjectNexusUS Would you like to be a part of Jesus - part of His body here on earth. This article speaks about how you can find your place as a member of His body:

Not necessarily...
"Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends." John 15:13 NKJV
If we do the following, we also prove that we really love our fellow man:
"Take heed to yourself and to the doctrine. Continue in them, for in doing this you will save both yourself and those who hear you."
I Timothy 4:16 NKJV
Do all things without complaining and disputing, that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world, holding fast the word of life ...
Philippians 2:14-16 NKJV
But as for you, you meant evil against me; but God meant it for good, in order to bring it about as it is this day, to save many people alive. Now therefore, do not be afraid; I will provide for you and your little ones.” And he comforted them and spoke kindly to them.
Genesis 50:20-21 NKJV
@missy_moo_doo We need to love God's righteousness jugements over or life, hate sin and be finished with everything that isn't well-pleasing to our heavenly bridegroom, Jesus Christ.

This is so true! And it's exactly in the day-to-day trials allowed by God that we get to see ourselves (how we are by nature), acknowledge the truth about our true state and thus be freed from the sin that dwells within us.
He also uses trials to open our ears, so we can hear His voice much clearer and understand His will for us in each situation.
So much to be thankful for! ♥️
Of course we can’t establish our own righteousness or atone for our own sins. That’s exactly why we need Jesus.
The bronze serpent is a beautiful picture of salvation: the Israelites couldn’t heal themselves, so they had to look in faith at what God had provided. In the same way, I can’t atone for my own past sins. I need Jesus.
That doesn’t mean the rest of Christianity consists of me doing nothing while Jesus supposedly lives my life for me.
Hebrews 12 says that while “looking unto Jesus,” we ourselves must lay aside sin and run the race set before us.
Paul says: “Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? Certainly not.” Grace doesn’t remove obedience; it gives us the help and power to obey.
We’re saved by grace through faith, but the very next verse in Ephesians says we’re created in Christ Jesus for good works that we should walk in them.
James says faith without works is dead.
Jesus says: “If you love Me, keep My commandments.”
That isn’t trying to earn forgiveness by works.
It’s what happens after someone has freely received forgiveness and actually starts following the One who saved them.
No, you don't have to...
No one is forcing you to do anything.
However, when we choose to do so from the heart, even when we're going through humanly-speaking really trying circumstances (which God allowed), God is well-pleased with us.
It really makes His heart glad when His children are thankful for the trials and tribulations He finely weighs and precisely measures for their very, very best.
You don't have to be thankful for everything, but if you choose to be, that's exactly what proves you're a real Christian, because real Christians obey God's commandments.
"... in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you." 1 Thessalonians 5:18
