@ShannonDingle Sending prayers your way. I lost my soulmate to a heart attack when he was 29. #grief is complex and I hope you have understanding people to help you and your family.
BREAKING NEWS: United Methodists ratify amendment to #UMC constitution proclaiming women's equality with men. There was a revote because of incorrect wording in what was originally sent to annual conferences. https://t.co/n7E4dKSSCY
@ascentcommunity@flatironschurch you fail #metoo women You are a "safe haven" for abusers like my ex Begin hearing from women like me so you know how to minister to us and raise awareness around #domesticabuse so that our abusers are held accountable https://t.co/So1XVMDNq4
@Paula_White Thanks for this reminder! I rush through life and am learning to slow it down so that I don't miss out on the life God destined me to live out. #metoo I am a #GratefulSurvivor of #domesticabuse#PTSD https://t.co/So1XVMDNq4
Although we may grow weary and tired, the greatest evidence we can show of our relationship with Jesus is our faithfulness in the things and tasks He has placed in our hands. As you do your best, God will take care of the rest!
Not in my self-proclaimed "christian" of an ex-husband who served me with divorce papers days after his arrest #domesticviolence He compartmentalizes his abuse + lives as if he did no wrong I hope to God everyone prays for the 33% of #metoo women + their abusers @NCADV@RAINN
Father, You are so worthy of praise & honor. It doesn’t matter what the hour- being in Your presence restores my soul. I am humbled that You would find a dwelling place in me . You are the priority of my life! I give my heart to You.
In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen
I’m really tired of the “But Paul was a murderer” argument about how pastors who abuse can be restored.
Paul was a murderer BEFORE he came to Christ. He did not use his position as an apostle to identify victims to murder.

@GGBaskerville@ascentcommunity@NCADV@RAINN I am really glad to have connected with you here and to learn of your ministry, thanks for all that you do to help the far too many #metoo women like me!
A life-saving divorce is one obvious way to end domestic violence.
Why are pastors so intent on keeping women (and more rarely, men) in abusive homes?
(I know the answer, but I'm asking rhetorically.)
@GGBaskerville @LizOfLizville @momma2fourkids My district attorney dropped my case as in his words - I didn't call 911 or have pictures of bruises. He cared about his record more than my justice My #PTSD was irrelevant The justice system was unjust for me
@RichardOrmrod @GGBaskerville If you were to poll #domesticviolence#metoo survivors you might be shocked at their treatment by some churches + pastors Thank God for pastors who are there and care about their members as #Jesus did @geracigino is 1 example of this His words to me were beyond helpful
