Someone back me up here then when ND people get sick (with the common cold, flu or other average seasonal illness) it's fucking HELL, it takes FOREVER to recover, we cannot continue to work, run a house, self care (all things we can hardly do anyway).. 😭
Hypothetical:
You hate your job. You get a job offer that pays more and is what you want to be doing, plus a smaller workload.
Caveat: It's for a company that doesn't align with your personal values. Like at all.
Do you take the job?
My favourite analogy to explain time blindness to NTs is the expression 'time flies when you're having fun'.
NTs can pay attention to time subconsciously (time sight, lol) unless something some thing distracts/ prevents them.
For ADHDers, this is always true, fun or not.
Let’s talk about that underwhelming feeling when you feel like medication will improve your life like so many people says it does but then… it doesn’t #askadhd
Therapists aren't automatically good at their jobs or ethical. Some therapists project. And many are enablers. I hope ppl who are seeking therapy can be mindful of this. I wish I had tips for how to spot when it's happening. If someone does have tips, let me know
