@MickMills@ManxRadio@TimCrookall And if your talking about accessibility as an issue, why not raise the question of safety as well.?
Coaches, by law, have to have safety belts fitted for every passenger, buses do not 🤷🏻♂️.
Surely something every cruise passenger would expect as standard #stickthemonabus 🇮🇲😂
@IOMfolk@MickMills@ManxRadio@TimCrookall Gov, this dept & head of transport 🤡 are doing a huge disservice to visitors, economy & business here, it’s not a level playing field to tender, it’s not saving the taxpayer dot because they’re rubbish at it, in fact it’s costing us to displace employed folk from private ent😏
Absolute disgrace they spent millions unnecessarily widening the runway for planes which don’t need it and often can’t land because actually the lighting is the problem.
These people are a joke 🤡
@nickop@IOMfolk@isleofmantoday Abysmal, absolutely no imagination to take the opportunity presented to really add value & vibe to the experience of the capital and considering the cost 😱 #shameful
Typical no consequence to them ‘good idea’ thought process from Government. Having limited income & disposed of private business (tax contributors), they take over & F up public delivery and we’re in danger of being left without anyone wanting to fill the hole they’ve left…
@iomdhsc@LawrieHooper Unbelievable.
Let’s hope there’s enough private contractors left to pick up the slack after their services were ‘no longer required’ when Gov decided to provide a taxpayer funded service to utilise all those expensive minibuses. Surprise, it’s too costly & now needs limiting 🙄
Can you please update the 🇮🇲 Government website which states all letters have gone out to priority group 9, when they haven’t, it’s misleading the public @dashford77
@DeficitIom @breeshasdad @IOMfolk@MichaelJosem Going forward social media will distort & override the ‘facts’ of any historical or current day situation & many more people will be even more confused & in danger of acting on misinformation, so yes an ever present danger.
@DeficitIom @breeshasdad @IOMfolk@MichaelJosem Many countries have dark history periods, most people are not stupid or heartless & I think we do a pretty good job of teaching, without the flag waving you seem to think, & all the factual info is freely available these days. A permanent accusative state isn’t a healthy state.
@DeficitIom @breeshasdad @IOMfolk@MichaelJosem Is that still the way it’s being taught, not to my children anyway who are very aware of the wrongs initiated to those colonised, there’s a definite acknowledgment of the negative legacy alongside the reality of what was a different era & mindset of the British people.
